Arrival in Balchik. Visit to the Ethnographic House and the “Revival Period” Complex. Visit to the Architectural-Park Complex “The Palace”, associated with one of the most successful and beautiful sovereigns of Europe in the last century – the Romanian Queen Maria Alexandra Victoria of Edinburgh. Visit to the antiquity and medieval castle in “Horizont” neighborhood. According to the period of the visit, it might also include participation in one of the festivals organized in Balchik. Departure to Dobrich. On the way: visit to the sanctuary “Tekke” near Obrochishte, venerated by two religions. Visit to the Open-Air Architectural and Ethnographic Museum “Old Dobrich”. Visit to the craft shops and lectures about traditional folk crafts (leather and fur processing, pottery, weaving, cooperage, goldsmith’s craft, bakery, etc.) Visit to the Ethnographic House with a lecture about the life and customs of Dobrudzhans. Visit to the Orthodox Church “Saint George”. Overnight in Balchik.
Early departure to Debrene. Participation in the Folklore Fair “Song and Dance from Sunny Dobrudzha” /always in the last Saturday of June/ - an annual celebration of the unique, eternal and infinitely diverse folklore traditions with a history of over 40 years.
