Arrival in Balchik. Accommodation. Visit to the History Museum, which presents an exhibition of the ancient archaeological past of the town. Visit to the Temple of the Great Mother Goddess Cybele. Lecture. Visit to the Old Mill, which now houses a Cultural and Information Center with the thematic exhibitions “The Route of Grain,” “Cultural Routes” and “Signs of Time”. Visit to the antiquity and medieval fortress in the “Horizont” neighborhood. Lecture. Visit to the Architectural-Park Complex “The Palace”. Lecture on the history and Queen Maria’s life. Overnight in Balchik.
Departure to Kavarna. On the way: lecture about the Proto-Bulgarian settlement in the area Kovanlaka near Topola. Visit to the History Museum in Kavarna with a lecture about the history of the town – the display presenting the area’s history and the display “Dobrudzha and the Sea”, located in a former hamam /a traditional Turkish bath/. Departure to Cape Kaliakra. Visit to and lecture in the Archeological Reserve. Departure to Dobrich. Visit to the Open-Air Architectural and Ethnographic Museum “Old Dobrich”.
