Kavarna is an established cultural center, where various activities of regional, national and global scale take place. Having already become a tradition, the festivals that are organized in the town attract people related to art and a great Bulgarian and international audience. In only a short time, Kavarna became the “Rock capita” of the Balkans.
Kavarna is one of the municipalities with rich cultural and historical heritage and important cultural monuments. In only two years were restored the Ossuary-Memorial of Russian soldiers and the Monument of submariners; a memorial sculpture of the Russian Admiral F.F. Ushakov on Cape Kaliakra, a plaque commemorating those who died in the Russian-Turkish war and a memorial plaque commemorating the fallen Dobrudzhans – victims of the Romanian repression in 1916-1918 were erected.
